Sharnee first stepped onto the stage at the young age of eight but it wasn't
until much later in 2001, that Sharnee dedicated herself to the unique genre of
country music. Ever since then she has been developing her writing and singing
talent with the goal of becoming Australia's biggest Country Music singer!
Graduating from the Australian College of Country Music in 2007, Sharnee has
been consistently recognised as one of Australia's rising Country Music stars.
Her merits include winning the 2006 Deadly Awards Most Promising New Talent
Award and being selected as a grand finalist in the Toyota Starmaker and
Telestra Road to Tamworth.
With a warm and exciting personality that transpires onto stage, Sharnee leaves
audiences with an electrifying impression. Country Music Legend Allan Tompkins
has said of Sharnee that "she beams when she's on stage and she's the same
person off stage". One of her biggest supports, Sharnee and Allan played
together in Nashville earlier this year in an Australian Guitar Showcase.
While performing comes naturally to Sharnee, her main focus lately has been song
writing. She enjoys writing by herself and also with other country music
songwriters like Glen Hannah, Tamara Stewart and Roger Corbett. Sharnee's first
EP single release 'How 'bout Never' climbed to the top 10 of the Country Music
charts and she is now focusing on making her second album.
