The extreme volatility in global financial markets has finally caught up with Australia's listed Agri Business sector causing it to experience a sudden drop in value over the past month. However, despite the drop in the value, the Australian Agribusiness sector is still outperforming the broader Australian Stock Exchange.

CBA Agribusiness - Commonwealth Bank Australia
Jon Sutton, Executive General Manager of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia Agribusiness, believes that over the next twelve months the Agrisector will continue to perform well. He believes that there are a few big macro trends emerging, which will benefit the Agribusiness sector. In particular, our proximity to growing economies, like China and India, make us really well placed to supply these new markets with Australian farm products.

CBA Agribusiness has over 370 staff located throughout Australia, in 56 locations. All Agribusiness consultants are from farming backgrounds, and have extensive experience in dealing with rural businesses. What's more, the real advantage of using CBA Agribusiness staff to do business is their willingness to accommodate their customers, by travelling out to where the customer is on the farm.
