Moo Goo is an Australian skin care company based in Queensland. The concept behind Moo Goo arose when owner, Craig Jones, mother who suffered from psoriasis, discovered that the udder cream she used for her dairy cows was improving her skin condition. Farmers to keep udders in good condition originally used udder cream. It is a natural cream that acts as a good moisturiser and skin repairer. These qualities gave the cream excellent potential to be used as moisturizer for human skin.

However the udder cream was very thick, it could not to sink into the skin properly and was extremely unpractical. Craig reformulated the udder cream recipe so that it could sink into the skin easily. It was not long before the neighbours began knocking on Craig's door asking for his cream for sensitive skin. The demand his udder cream, gave Craig the idea to market and sell Moo Goo. The company has grown from its humble beginnings into a business which turns around half a million dollars annually. Moo Goo has also expanded its product range from udder and skin cream to shampoo, cleanser, soaps and balms.

Moo Goo is currently running a 'Search for a Supermodel Cow' competition. This is a take-off of the 'Search for a Supermodel' competition, which promotes selling products using supermodels. Moo Goo is against using glamour to sell its products and believes that its formula, and ingredients should be its biggest drawing card, not a supermodel on its packet.

Moo Goo is searching for a cow to represent their business and asking all cow owners to send in pictures of candidates. Ideally images should be a close up picture of the cow's face, from underneath which shows up past the nose and towards the eyes. The winning cow receives national acclaim; it will also be Moo Goo's Cow Ambassador and receive a prize pack of $500. There has been a massive 50 entries so far, which highlights the love that farmers have for their cattle.

Dairy Farmer, Kate Tommerup, believes this is due to the producers close relationship with their cattle "we raise them from when they're babies, you've hand-reared them so you're very attached to them". Yet it isn't just looks that Moo Goo are after, they are seeking a cow with a personality that shines on camera.
