Lying on the apex of the Great Dividing Range approximately 527 metres above sea
level, resides the Australian Coffee Centre. This multi million-dollar centre
sits on the outskirts of the Skybury Coffee Estate, which is one of the largest
coffee plantations in Australia. The cool elevated plateau climate in the area
makes it perfect for growing great tasting coffee, which is why 60% of
Australia's coffee in this Estate.

This large family business is owned and run by Ian and Marion MacLaughlin and
daughter Candy MacLaughlin. It is oldest coffee plantation in Australia and the
most unique. It contains a luxurious restaurant, licensed bar, coffee
laboratory, gift store, and Coffee Cinema. Visitors can enjoy a movie in the
Coffee Cinema, which plays the region's first high definition movie, about
coffee, on a large curved screen.
Visitors are also able to stroll through the coffee plantation, free to enjoy
the bird life and local bush land. Skybury also boasts a soft release pen, where
recovering native wildlife can be re-introduced to Bushland surroundings.
The Skybury Coffee Estate has one of the world's most refined processing
facilities. Their unique "wet processing" system quickly and efficiently turns
coffee from the field to dry and then to stabilise it in just one hour. A coffee
tasting tour keeps guests buzzing, while they are shown around the estate and
given a glimpse of the different stages of coffee production.
